Bill Alles, proprietor of Churchill’s Steakhouse, comes from a long line of meat tradesmen. His Grandfather was a Master Butcher who immigrated from Germany in the late 1800s, settling in Philadelphia. He opened several successful markets and taught his four children the business. Bill worked in these markets, learning the old-world techniques passed down from his Grandfather to his father. Following in the footsteps of generations before him, Bill opened Churchill’s Steakhouse in 2007, incorporating established artisan methods with modern technology to create incredibly tender and delicious steaks only found at our destination Steakhouse in Spokane, WA.
Churchill’s embodies Bill’s family legacy and his passion for sourcing, aging, and preparing the finest beef on the market today. While Bill has since retired, the recipes, menu, and standards of service he established over 17 years ago remain.
